The Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM) is a non-profit organisation that provides spiritual training to interested seekers around the world. Through the system of Sahaj Marg meditation, it offers a platform for spiritual and practical living in more than 100 countries worldwide and on every continent of the globe. SRCM has ashrams and centres in all major urban centres in India, as well as in many towns and rural areas, where seekers meditate together.
SRCM was founded in Shahjahanpur, India in 1945 and now has its world headquarters in Chennai, India. Its founder was Shri Ram Chandra of Shahajanpur, also known as Babuji to his followers. The current president of SRCM is Shri Kamlesh D. Patel.
SRCM is formally associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (UN DPI) as an international non-governmental organisation. SRCM and the UN share a common goal in support of the public good and SRCM’s objectives fulfil the principles outlined in the UN Charter.
